Flying Lotus “Disco Balls”

Easily one of my favorite artists in a long long time, I have spent the better part of the last 2 years obsessing over Steven Ellison’s gunky yet glittery beats. This new track, off the Hyperdub 5 Year anniversary disc, bumps the heavy bass with a steady beat and not much more except distant synths. I little bit of a minimalist approach from a dude who’s known for really packing on the ambience.
