Lauryn Hill “Ex Factor”
Man I love this song. When this album came out my I was a high school punk more concerned with the Dead Kennedy’s, but my sister would play it to no end, and I never could admit it at the time, but even then I thought it was just wonderful.
Her voice and the production are just timeless, and sounds just as fresh today as it ever did. I can’t help but remember how two years ago when I was on a road trip with the Enzor brothers through west Texas we listened to this song and all sang along, harmonizing and all.
